About
Hi, I'm Awesome Framebuf. I built FrameBuff.
“I wanted my own AI server with full control of my data = NO data center. Everything encrypted, everything in my own hands.”
Awesome Framebuf
When you talk to an AI, you hand it context: your files, your plans, your questions. I didn't want that context sitting on a random server I don't control. I wanted it encrypted, on my own machines, and out of reach of anyone trying to break in.
How it grew
- FirstOne of my machines had a GPU and another didn't. I wanted the second to use the first one's card. That was the first piece of FrameBuff.
- ThenIf two machines could share a GPU, every machine could share everything. All my data, reachable from anywhere, on a drive that keeps it safe. That became the FrameBuff drive, so you never lose anything.
- ThenThe family module, so the people I live with can use it too: their own space, my GPU when I'm not using it, and nothing shared without a yes.
- NextOpen source, so anyone can run it on their own machines.
What I hold to
- Your data, your keys. Nothing leaves your machines unencrypted, and nobody else holds the keys.
- Silence is never consent. Every request that nobody answers is a no.
- Nothing is done because it compiles. A feature counts only when it works on a running machine.
- Nothing to rent. The machines you already own are enough.
Say hello
