What this site keeps about you
Very little. This page lists all of it.

Just visiting
Reading this site stores nothing about you.
- No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising. (The site's own administrator page sets one login cookie for its operator. Visitors never get it.)
- The server keeps no access log, so your IP address isn't written down.
- Fonts, images and scripts all come from this site. Your browser contacts no other company while you read.
Joining the waitlist
When you join the waitlist, this is everything that gets stored:
- Your email address
- So we can send you one link to confirm it's really you, and one email when the beta opens.
- The interests you ticked
- Optional. Tells us which parts of FrameBuff people want first.
- Three times
- When you signed up, when you ticked the consent box, and when you clicked the confirm link. Together they show that you asked to be on the list.
- A confirm code and an unsubscribe code
- Random codes that make the confirm link and the unsubscribe link in every email work.
- Which emails you got
- So nobody gets the same announcement twice.
The emails contain no tracking images or tracked links. We can't see whether you opened them.
Your IP address is used for a few minutes, in memory only, to stop one sender flooding the form. It is never saved.
Why we may keep it
Because you asked us to. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)), given with the tick box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
Where it is kept
On FrameBuff's own server, a virtual machine rented from Hostinger in Germany, inside the EU. The list is never sold, and never handed to a newsletter or marketing service.
Emails are sent from contact@framebuff.online through Hostinger's mail service, the same way any email from that address travels. Hostinger sees each address only while delivering the message to it.
How long
If you never click the confirm link, your address is deleted 7 days after we sent it. Otherwise, until you unsubscribe, or at most 12 months after the email announcing the beta, whichever comes first. Then it is deleted.
Your rights
- Leave the list: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to contact@framebuff.online. Your entry is deleted, not just marked.
- See or correct your data: write to the same address and you get a copy of everything stored about you.
- Complain: you can contact the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.dk, or the authority in your own country.
Who is responsible
Awesome Framebuf, who runs framebuff.online. Contact: contact@framebuff.online.
