FrameBuff
Sharing GPUs with your rings
It started with one machine that had a GPU and one that didn't.
"Lend your GPU" lets the people in your trust rings use your graphics card while you are not using it.
You stay in charge
- Each machine has a dial that sets how much it gives.
- Sharing is by consent, and a request nobody answers is a no.
- When you sit down again, the card comes back to you within about a second.
- You can see who used how much.
Over the mesh
A question to an AI, and its answer, is only text, and text is small. So your rings' GPUs can answer over any link, even a slow radio link. In testing, a GPU answered over a simulated 1200 bit per second link in about 9 seconds.
Heavy work like images and video runs on fast links only.
Nothing that travels over the mesh is ever stored or used to train AI.
